Holy Week is the week between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, the holiest week of the Christian year as we celebrate the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This year, we are delighted to be welcoming The Very Reverend Jane Hedges to lead a series of reflections and sermons throughout the week, focusing on The Body of Christ.
The Triduum
The Triduum is the name given to the services that take place from the evening of Maundy Thursday to Easter Eve on Holy Saturday. It is to be seen as a single service which is spread over three days. That is why there are no words of welcome other than on Maundy Thursday, and no words of dismissal other than on Easter Eve.
