Tuesday, 31st March 10am – 4pm
We will begin our observance of Holy Week with a special Quiet Day at Sheperd’s Law Hermitage in the beautiful rolling Northumberland hills. The Quiet Day will be led by The Very Reverend Jane Hedges. We will begin with the office of Morning Prayer with hymns and a short address, followed by coffee and bread making.
We will then say the midday office together, followed by another short address from Jane. This will be followed by a picnic lunch. After lunch, we will have free time either to relax, read, or explore the beautiful walks and countryside on the doorstep of Shepherd’s Law. The Quiet Day will end with a shared Eucharist at 3pm and a final address.
